I was a freshman at the U in the fall of 1986 after the Madison rape scandal. I bought season tickets every year I was an undergrad, and have been a die-hard fan of the program since Clem’s first season. Without question, this is the lowest I have ever seen this program. There is no hope, nothing to cling onto to keep me as a fan. This sucks beyond words, and it keeps getting worse.

My enthusiasm for next year was already pretty low, but now it's at a flat zero. I don't see anything to make me follow the season as closely as I usually do...there's nothing to look forward to. Dead last for 2 seasons in a row, and now the prized recruit is decommitting.

This is a dumpster fire.

Not necessarily. The two are in different situations. Henley signed without the guarantee of Evans coming and Henley now has a relationship with Ben and has gotten a ton of PT.

My guess is the tipping point was Evans heard there are St. Thomas, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and St. Olaf fans infiltrating Dinkytown and Stadium Village.
