when I hear his name, I can't get this 50s rock vibe out of my head
This guy is a stat stuffer! Very good get! Now go get Evans or Enis or the Oklahoma kid and an athletic 6-9 kid that can pass and rebound! Here's a link to his player profile:
And one for his stats:

Either Evans or Enis or the Oklahoma kid would be GREAT; more than one of those would be ORGASMIC. Add a little beef to that, and we would have ourselves a competitive team. This guy is a stat stuffer! Very good get! Close...it was actually a B-Side track on an early Liberace album called "Jerkin' a Gherkin for Bobby Durkin". Not much radio play back in the conservative 50's, though. The song rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.when I hear his name, I can't get this 50s rock vibe out of my head
I could hear it, blaring out of a transistor radio.
Here's Bobby Durkin and the Defenders with their smash hit - Ball Movement!

Even with who's already been signed, watching free throws go in the basket is going to take some getting used to, but I'm ready for it.

Just me, or does he look like Jimmy Chitwood?
I didn't get a Jimmy Chitwood.....but he looks like somebody famous.....I am sure one of the better photo shop people here will figure out who it is....not coming to me at the momentJust me, or does he look like Jimmy Chitwood?
It’s absolutely awesome to see.Nice to see the roster starting to take shape and also nice to see some promising transfers coming in that have a chance to be around for multiple seasons.
Obviously in this era of roster jumping there is no guarantee guys will stick around for more than one season but as opposed to a lot of the 1 year guys Johnson brought it it is nice to see guys who at the very least have the potential to stick around.
To quote Bill Simmons, it's Jimmy time!Just me, or does he look like Jimmy Chitwood?

Give him a 5 o’clock shadow and scruffier hair and I think he’d be a great doppelgänger for Booger from Revenge of the Nerds.I didn't get a Jimmy Chitwood.....but he looks like somebody famous.....I am sure one of the better photo shop people here will figure out who it is....not coming to me at the moment
High school kids grow up...Interesting his 247 profile out of high school had him listed as combo guard.
Was this written by his agent?“Bobby Durkin has great size for his skill set,” Shaw’s scouting report read. “A legit wing, he has a smooth jump shot with a repeatable release and excellent balance. Durkin is able to get into his shot off the bounce or off the catch. He can create space for himself off the live dribble. Durkin is an excellent passer, with vision from multiple spots on the floor.
“He can secondarily initiate in the half-court or create shots as the shot clock winds down. Lateral quickness will be a question, but he gives effort and has an IQ on the defensive end. Durkin is a good rebounder and has an innate toughness. He is someone who could outplay his ranking in college. Durkin averaged 18.4 points on the UAA Next Circuit.”
