Bob Gibbons Top 125 List For 2011 Class

Coleman

Joe Coleman being left off this list is an absolute travesty, especially after his Peach Jam performance this past week. Some feel he'll be a top 50-75 prospect by the end of the summer

on espn, he is in between 50-75 at #65. We all know he is a 4 star prospect even if recruiting services wont give him that title. You can't argue with 32 and 11 vs. drew gooden

Marshall Plumlee being on this list at #56 tells me all i need to know about it, Gibbons is a shell of what he used to be, he hasn't seen 80% of these kids play.

The list was made before this past week.

And yet, Gibbons was one of very few to rate Austin Hollins (#133) in the 2010 class. Ditto Elliott Eliason (#141).

Coleman is not listed by Rivals or Scout. Nor by Hoopmasters. All of their lists are out of date.

Most ridiculous thing I've read all month. He is having an unbelievable summer...then he drops 7 spots? If he's the 111th best player in the country, this must be the deepest class in the history of America.

seriously. Its all political with guys like Plumlee dropping like 5 points a game in aau yet somehow he is moving up in the rankings to 5 star status like his overrated brothers. Same goes for Zeller.

Marshall Plumlee is Alec Brown except awkward and minus the good touch. Not a top 60 player.

It says above it is their PRE summer top 100.

The ranking was done before the July period. Rivals saw Joe a lot at the Peach Jam and commented on how good he looked. I'd be shocked if he didn't move up in the post summer rankings there.

Yes but when you have Duke in your family tree, YOU HAVE TO BE VERY SPECIAL!!

Duke bitterness aside I watched both of those kids with Indy Elite last week in Bloomington. The Zeller kid is a nice player but Plummlee? Didn't impress many in the crowd. Runs the floor well and has some nice touch etc. Just didn't see high major in the 4 games I watched of his.

Thought more of him than Shelby Moats however. He was a real disappointment in terms of his effort and productivity. Does not seem to be a lot of fire in that kid. Sat the entire 2nd half of his teams semi loss. Struggled finishing in traffic a lot as well. Didn't see much from Estan Tyler that made me think Big10 either.

As far as Coleman I still get the feeling people are not sure where he plays and therefore, mark him lower etc. His numbers are very good and Pulley showcases him pretty well. Can't believe his marks won't go up.

There is a lot of talent in '11 class but the only Minnesotan who appears "big10" capable appears to be Coleman although his atheticism would look great in the ACC etc.
