Same. I thought Kessel would go one more season to hit it.

Blake needed 1 or 2 more healthy seasons, but maybe he knew hid game started to slip to the point where it wasn't attainable.

Either way, great career.

The best shots at 1,000 now are Cooley and Knies.

I’d expect Cooley gets there if he’s stays healthy. Sure seems like he’ll be a ppg player for awhile going forward. Dont think Knies has that in his game and Cooley is a year younger as well

Knies' chance depends on the line he'll play on in the next 2-3 years in Toronto. He could be like Marner and get a ton of points by being next to the right guts.

Otherwise, I agree. Cooley has a much better chance for the reasons you said.
