Blaine McCorkle press conference after facing MN.

That's what I thought.
T-Boone-Pickens died a number of seasons ago. He did take care of Okie State pretty damn well, but unless he operates as “…pickens ghost…” those good times have become a lot leaner…. ;0)

Stand-up guy, and a hell of a coach to keep that locker room bought in considering all of their struggles. Also says a lot about PJ. Outsiders were clowning us for only putting up 17 in the second half, but that was all PJ showing respect to the other side.

T Boone Pickens died in 2019. That is likely part of the OK State problem. They no longer have a big booster
Yep, he was their meal ticket. OK State is in no-man's land and they have a wild identity crisis. Their fanbase thinks they should be the team from 15 years ago so there's a crazy amount of pressure on the program but it's just not feasible. Also I'm sure a lot of the Texas and Oklahoma talent that OK State used to pick up will start going to SMU, Texas Tech (not to mention the big boys in the region)

Agree. Gundy might be the first in-season HC gone in 2025.
Foster at UCLA may give him a run for his money. Only in year 2 so hopefully gets more time but they are off to a rough start.

I'm in the camp of hoping they do well. Even though they got stomped in the first quarter, NW kept competing till the end.
