There is an old saying “read the room.” After last week’s pile of stench of a game, there has seldom been a bigger cry for a unified maroon and gold reset.

But here we are. Hopefully the defense department check offsets this failure to read the room.

We have 2 Angry Gopher pieces of memorabilia. One is a plastic juice pitcher that is gold with a maroon Angry Gopher face on it. The second is a full-size heavy wool blanket that is maroon with the complete running Angry Gopher on it. Given he existed for only a single season feel pretty blessed with both of them.

For some reason I thought that maybe Coach Kill would move to bring him back. Supposedly he was too scary for the kids in 1985. He's probably too scary for the young adults nowadays so never mind.
