Was just saying this to another media friend last night. Not freaking out at 10, 20, or even 30 games...now we're in January and 34 games in...and you expect to not lose to Detroit like that.
 

This team is finished. The defense took a step back, Edwards isn't attacking the rim, father time caught up to Conley, and Randle isn't a fit.

They'll be lucky to earn the privilege to lose in the 1st Round of the playoffs this season.

Silly. they are in 10th only 3 games out of 4th place with just under 2/3 of season left.

Did you not think it was gonna take Ant time to learn his new role? Randle? Heck, everyone?

Relax. The Western conference Champions last season were 3 games over .500 at the beginning of February last year.

Furthermore, with Ant it always was gonna take years. He needs this adversity. He needs to learn how to get his teamates involved. Its all a process. Dante provides a perfect test/opportunity for him. Get that guy the ball where he’s most effective. Use the defense against you to make others better, and then they cant stifle him. Right now he’s resisting, not doing what he does. Not like to do. That is the first domino that must fall.

The Mavs also traded to improve their defense.

As constructed this team is toast this season.
