Shocked Indiana upset Nebraska. Never thought that was gonna happen, but that is why you play the games. Gophers can make waves this weekend. Why not win it? We didn't have Tori McKinney when we played UCLA. Beat Ohio State and the Gophers have a shot. Gotta win that first 1 to make a run.
 

Nebraska with a very mediocre season, underachieved IMO. Don't deserve to be in NCAA tourney. Not sure if they'll make it.

Honestly my hope is for Liv McGillll to come home and be a Gopher, her speed in coach P's system would make a lot of sense for both player and coach.

Fellow projected last-four in Mississippi State lost to Florida so it's up to the other bubble teams to take advantage or maybe some of the mid-major teams may be able to survive if they lose in their tournaments.

Last time I checked in, IN was down 17! Wow, must have been a hell of a game finish.
 

After this year's success and an NCAA tourney appearance, I am thinking the Gophers have a chance to grab a good player or two out of the portal. (Probably not Prince, although she'd be a great fit. Nebraska has incoming McD's All-American and Potts returning from injury.

100%. Would be a joke if Nebraska made it. In the 42 NCAA tournaments since the Big Ten began regular season play in 1982-1983, only 1 Big Ten team with a losing conference record has made the NCAA tourney, Indiana in 2019. That year Indiana went 8--10 in the regular season, and then won 1 game in the Big Ten tourney, to finish 9-11 against Big Ten competition.

With the loss today, Nebraska finished 7--12 against BIG competition. They went 0--8 against ranked teams and 1--10 against Quad 1 teams. They also played a weak non-conference schedule. They couldn't be more undeserving of an NCAA bid.

Yes. I'm hoping the difference of the Gophers winning at Illinois versus Michigan State losing to Illinois is enough for the Gophers to overtake Michigan State in the pecking order (overcome the head-to-head result).

... especially since the Gophers won at their place while MSU lost on a neutral court.
 

Autumn Johnson now has Michigan State on the 5 line.
 

More good news for the Gophers: Maryland falls to Oregon. (I have qualms about her team, of course, but Iove watching the Ducks' Etute play.)
 


This mornings bracketology by charlie creme still has us on the 4 line, with North Carolina coming to town as the 5 seed.

If we would happen to lose today I don' think it hurts us unless West Virginia and maybe North Carolina get to the finals or win their tourney. Just my gut; but, I have been wrong a lot LOL

It's really hard without Tori. Hopefully she can come back into the game soon. Glenn and Klick look fantastic on defense, but with either of them in we're almost playing down a player on offense.
 

The Glenn minutes are really really hurting us. We need to get to half time badly. Really bad turnovers and the pressure getting to us in the half court. Need Braun to settle down a little.
 



Ugh! Team totally different when Tori is out. Most of their TO’s are unforced. Someone anyone needs to calm the team down. Please don’t have Glenn facilitate the offense

Always questioned not developing a deeper bench throughout conference plays and now more exposed.
