In lights of the fiasco that is taking place in SEC football (vast majority of players infected at TT and LSU). How can the B1G trust some of the other programs to take it serious enough? SEC said they had it under control and knew what to do, obviously that was "to do nothing". It is not wise to take the word of some of these schools, they have to prove they are doing it right.

You should just call Coyle and Pitino and let them know which teams it’s OK to schedule. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.

As someone that's actually hung out in the Olympic Village, I hope the bubble "style" isn't anything like that...

Fiasco? hardly. LSU's team "most" HAD been infected; past tense. They currently have 3 or 4 with it. Guess what nobody died, no long term organ failure, none of the fear events that we have been fed non stop. They now are the safest team in America. The age group these players fall into literally has a death rate of zero. Guaranteed, more college football players will die from car accidents and alcohol than COVID 19.

So obviously you know nothing about the long term affects that can happen months after the initial infection. Oh that right, it is just the flu.......
 




Ohio State has pulled out of the Sanford tournament in Sioux Falls as Ohio has restricted travel to SD due to COVID. Supposedly St. Mary's will replace them and it's still on.
 

Do we have any kind of idea yet when a schedule might be announced?
 

Big Ten is expected to announce its schedule next week, so I'd imagine we'll get the Gophers' complete schedule, as well. Reportedly as of today the non-conference schedule looks like this. No road or neutral site games yet, and Marcus Fuller reported Dec. 12 is the date Gophers are trying to fill for last non-conference game.

MINNESOTA
Nov. 25: Green Bay (15-16)
Nov. 28: Eastern Washington (21-8)
Nov. 30: LMU (10-21)
Dec. 4: North Dakota (12-18)
Dec. 8: Boston College (13-19)
Dec. 12: vs. TBD

We'll need those "easy" warm-up games to get this new crew gelled and playing well together. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you haven't played together that can hurt you.

Obviously the non-conference wasn't going to be the same, given covid, but that's still a little light. Hopefully we are able to add another power-6 to that mix. Both Saint Louis and Eastern Washington are expected to be NCAA tournament teams, but that's it.
 

What # of conference games as the B1G settled on?
