Most people I know got Peacock on the cheap around the Olympics and are still paying the $2/month through next June.

Too much time and effort for me to investigate. I would look into setting up streaming capabilities, but not worth the hassle for me at this time.

I'll just find something else to watch and let my interest in D1 College Basketball in general dwindle as well as my Gopher fandom. I use to feel compelled to watch every Gopher game, now half is fine, probably more than enough.

MIAC Playoffs are on Feb 25th. I find that more compelling.

I've been streaming on the 'cock for a lot longer than most (mainly for the English Premier League matches).

IMO, the production value for both B10 football and basketball has been indiscernible from NBC, oftentimes with the same announcers and studio talking heads. You might be thinking BIG+, which sometimes has student announcers.

I have the annual pass for basketball only, so my key indicator of the season being about to start is when I get the renewal email from B1G+, bonus exhibition game this year!

I was referring to BTN+ which is now $12.99/month which is absurd.

I have no issue with Peacock except that as yet you can't record and start a game while it's going on. You either have to wait until it's over or join live and "rewind".

Anyone know if chromecast or any of the other streaming services you can buy at Walmart include peacock?

Well, there's two exhibition games, which also might be a record.

Not sure what's going on with the Yale game - seems like a big enough game to warrant regular coverage, but since it is on a Saturday, perhaps college football on BTN could bump it to BIG+.

The pre-season last place pick by the media actually surprises me this year. I can't believe there is not at least one team out of 18 with more uncertainty than the Gophers. Also, as a loyal B1G+ subscriber, I welcome many more games. Production value be damned, as long as they have a camera on the court while the time is running, that works for me. Having said that, it is possible that B1G+ could potentially miss that extremely low standard at times.

I finally gave in and got B1G+. Love it so far, and will so even more once basketball starts. Haven't been a big fan of conference realignment, but already with football season I find myself enjoying more teams and more games. And the overlap of basketball games on a zillion different platforms/channels will be a good thing, not a bad thing. Love the thought of on a random winter night watching Big Ten hoops from 11 a.m. to midnight.

You'll need to do the math for me and prove that it's worth it from a $$ standpoint. How much is Big+ per year? Peacock?

I paid $60 for the annual pass, this price only allows you to choose one sport though. Since I only watch college basketball that works for me. You do get full game replays for every B1G broadcast for every team in conference, men and women.

How much is all sports? I’m sure they don’t offer two. Hoops for sure but I’d take hockey as well. Just saw 20 hockey games are on free Channels 9. Call me shocked!
 

Three times in a row early in the conference schedule they just skip over playing on the weekend. But after that they play 6 Saturday in a row which is nice.
 

Goodness...that non conference schedule looks even more anemic in a graphic. All laid out you go from one to the next anticipating the exciting matchup only to realize...after a couple times through...there's just nothing there. Golly, that's bad. Very sad. Feel bad for the players.

I don't recall the all sport price but I'm guessing it's probably around double the 1 sport option.
