Excellent article from the Detroit Free press regarding it.
Personally I support anything which provides student athletes with more freedom/power. I wasn't aware until I read the article that only football, buckets, baseball and hockey players have to sit out for a year when transferring; it should be universal regardless of the sport. I also don't think it will lead to a flood of transfers from smaller/less elite programs to the "blue bloods", as the author ponders.
