Pretty clear to me now Nebraska is not in the mid tier…it is in the bottom tier.
As is Rutgers
Ohio state
Michigan
Penn state (with healthy QB)
still don’t believe in Michigan state so
This tier is all really close
Michigan State (3-0 vs bottom tier, 1-0 vs mid tier, 0-0 vs top tier)
Minnesota (1-0 vs bottom tier, 1-0 vs mid tier, 0-1 vs top tier)
Purdue (1-0 vs bottom tier, 1-1 vs mid tier, 0-0 vs top tier)
Iowa (1-0 vs top tier but QB hurt, 1-1 vs mid tier, 0-0 vs bottom tier)
Wisconsin (0-2 vs top, 0-0 vs mid, 1-0 vs bottom)
Maryland (0-1 vs top, 0-1 vs middle, 1-0 vs bottom)
Indiana (0-1 vs top, 0-2 vs middle, 0-0 vs bottom)
this tier is clearly worse than the rest of the conference even with an anomaly win or two later (none so far)
Rutgers
Nebraska
Northwestern
Illinois
I also see it very likely that the loser of the Maryland/Indiana in two weeks drops to the bottom tier.
