The Gophers open at home with UNLV at 6:00 Thursday Aug. 29th. The Vikings kickoff their pre-season
schedule on the very same day at home vs Tennessee at 7:00 at MOA Field. The Vikings and the Gophers are essentially partners for the next couple of seasons. Couldn't the Vikings open on Wednesday being NFL pre-season games are scheduled months before the contest, while most college games are scheduled years prior to the event? I realize this one is more recent but it's still minimum 6 months before the NFL. Not helpful, not cooperative, short sighted. We already have the State Fair as either a drain or boon depending on how it's marketed. (Nobody wants to play on Friday and step on high school football)

The Gophers game is on the BTN. That's a plus but...

It's Pre-season game Dude....anyone considered a starter only plays a couple snaps in the first preseason game. Get off four f-ing couch and come to TCF where there is a game that actually means something!!
