Since its launch in 2011, eight Big Ten Teams have earned trips to the Big Ten Championship game. Ohio State and Wisconsin have the most berths.

  • Michigan - 1
  • Michigan State - 3
  • Ohio State - 6
  • Penn State - 1

West Division Appearances
  • Iowa - 2
  • Nebraska - 1

There are six teams in the conference who've yet to make an appearance. Of those six, Minnesota is by far the one closest to making it. Multiple seasons, the Gophers have been knocking on the door to the title game.

Bolded below are the teams best ending position in the respective Big Ten division standings. Aside from Minnesota, only Indiana has finished second or higher in their division. Minnesota has done so three times, including a tie for the West Division title and a tiebreaking loss.
