Rutgers is no of the worst teams in the big ten. We shot 71 percent from the 3pt line against Iowa that is not sustainable. We should beat Rutgers period. Iowa is overrated. All these things are true we are a middle of the road big ten team. But we need to get it together and beat Rutgers.
 


I traveled to the mens game and ate, not watching the game but now looking at stats.

How in the world is Grocholski 0-9 on FG shooting and 0-5 on 3 shooting?

Good news is that must be a rare fluke.

I don’t have her HS stats but I wonder if she has ever gone 0-16 in a game ? Goldy survives with Hart, McKinney n Braun picking up the slack.
 


Most important thing is they escaped with the W! Coming off a high W @ Iowa to continue to travel for days can be tough. Seemed like Rutgers was celebrating everything and had a good attendance. Braun's 8 point stretch was key turnaround to pull ahead! Take the W and move on! Rah!
 


Ugly but got it done! Trap game was correct and they survived! Can’t wait to see the polls!
 

Wow. Bet we won't see another shooting day like that from GG for the rest of her career. Hart with a really solid game. Braun's 8- point run in the 3rd period gave us some breathing room. McKinney also with some big buckets. I thought Rutgers played some good defense. We'll have to play better to beat Nebraska.
 


They had two players who combined for 17-32 FGs, 6-11 on 3s. Rest of team almost nothing. Very hot shooting from Ndiaye and Perkins. So 41% for game. We only shot 34% FG and 29% on 3s. Yet we found a way to win on the road. Happy for the W. However, GG lost out on being B1G player of week.

Like playing a game with a hangover... get home and prepare for the next game.
 



Where will the Gophers appear in the rankings?? They should be no less than 17-18 (I'd still say under ranked) but my guess is probably 22-23

The rest of the team carried her today which is great. They had no answer for Sophie. I thought Coach P made a good decision by playing her more at the end.
