BIG Game 12: Gophers @ Iowa, Feb 5th!

Didn't see a game thread so thought I would create one quickly! Huge opportunity tonight! Things I am interested in seeing:
  • After the last few games of dominating, how do we look against a top tier team
  • Big time environment; do we fold or come out aggressive
  • Hart/Tonga vs the Iowa bigs
  • For Iowa who does Heiden guard?
Not a lot of teams go into Iowa and win; but, I just want to see this team fight, compete, and battle to the end. This game should tell a lot on how much the Gophers have improved.

Thanks for starting the feed. Seems like forever since the Gophers beat Iowa, in Carver-Hawkeye no less. Yes would like to see a competitive game. I think this Gophers team can win but going to have to play mistake free. Go Gophers!
 

Need balanced scoring inside and out. We have the talent and it would be fantastic for them to get the W.
 


Gophers have been playing well, but against inferior competition. Iowa on a rare 2-game losing streak in which they've looked very beatable. I look at this as an 'opportunity ' game for the Gophers. Not sure they can win in Iowa City, but if they do, they will really enhance their chances for a higher seed in the NCAA tourney. Go Gophers!
 

Last time we beat Iowa anywhere was in the 2017-2018 season. We beat them in the Barn and in the Big Ten tourney. We haven't won in Iowa City since 2007. Time for a win down there!!
