The difference is Edsall DIDNT WIN! He's .500! He doesn't even have a winning record in regular season play. Petersen is 60-5, he's KILLING a weak schedule, like any good coach should. He's got his team ranked. He's beat ranked teams. Not even a comparison...

But he is .500 at what should be by far the worst team in the Big East.

Not saying its more impressive than the domination shown by BSU, but it is not nothing. Also consider the momentum BSU had when Petersen took over, and the 1-aa status of Uconn when Edsall took over (and four awkward years as a 1-A independent).
