Could be a way worse situation...I think BYU was on the schedule and they would have smoked us. Can't remember who the other 2 non conference teams were but I'm not confident we would have played well in those games either.
Maybe it gives guys a few extra games you develop but i couldn't see this team being more than a 3 win team with this defense in a normal year.
