Sorry to be dense, at first I thought "West side" meant west side of St. Paul and I got excited.

MAC's Industrial just in Northeast not far from DT has the sound up and usually a good crowd. Sallys like Irish said is good. It's big, there will be atmosphere, and usually good beer specials.

Been there once and was unimpressed. It was pretty close to when they opened, maybe they have their act together by now
