We need a younger recruit (transfer or flipped commit) to fully benefit. Part of what made the pickup of Gros so great is how she was able to mentor the younger middles. Either get Murr and a younger prospect or get Gomillion so that next year she can be that leader. Murr on her own just seems like a missed opportunity for long-term program development.Milan Gomillion out of Maryland would be the best portal pickup for the Gophers, she has two years left.
Kylie Murr out of Ohio State was Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year but she only has one year left, would be a great band aid but then Cook is back in the same place after next season.
Picking either of those players would be a homerun start for the new coaching regime.
Why not both?Milan Gomillion out of Maryland would be the best portal pickup for the Gophers, she has two years left.

Not sure either will give up the L for any programWhy not both?
Maybe for a guaranteed natty. Murr only has one year left, but Gomillian could wait until the following year. Not sure either will give up the L for any program
