Beavcoon in the Room Without a Flume

And in a flash the waters have dried to a dust
Our boats are cracked, withered, and crippled.
The captain has jumped ship, leaving this place dismal.
What was once a place of great promise, now has turned to rust.

The captain disappears into the great chain of Smoke
To the lure of great gemstones by volunteers
Leaving us with useless oars, dumbstruck at why he would disappear.
Back to mediocracy we return, and on this dust we must choke.

Beavcoon in the room with the Hunchback

Into Tennessee
PJ never to return
F@ck the Volunteers

Not what I think will happen, but enjoy the silliness of Haiku
