Is this true? I haven't seen it anywhere to verify.

Nope, he told his redneck parents to stick it up their Badger holes.

I doubt he'll go to Wisconsin. No site has shown any report of him leaning towards anyone. He did just get an offer from Michigan though. That could be trouble.

Wisconsin, do yourself a favor and just "cool on him" now, he's not going to Madison.

No problem if he does not go to Minnesota. I am sure Punky has 5 or 6 higher rated defensive tackles ready to commit if that happens.

Actually, DT Richard Ash has the Gophers in his top 3 (Minn, USC, South Florida) and is much higher ranked......:D Teammate of Gopher commit DT Doral Willis in Florida.

I still want to see Beau in maroon and gold.

and you wonder why we think your an ass*ole.

How big of an ass*ole can I be. I donated $100 to this site.

I am just quoting what I read on here all the time about recruiting. I didn't say I agreed with it. In fact, I disagree with it. I think it is really important to keep the best players in the State. It is extremely difficult going into the back yards of SEC or Big 12 or other Big Ten powers for that matter and pulling 4 or 5 star kids out of there.

It is much easier to convince the 4 or 5 star kids in your back yard to stay home. I am really surprised that Minnesota has such a hard time keeping elite prospects in the State. When I was growing up, all I wanted to do was play football for the Gophers, I would have jumped at the chance.

I think most of the people on this forum have figured that out. I am not sure everyone has.

As for the "Punky", when people stop with the names for Bielema, I will stop with "Punky".

I think that's the problem, these kids haven't necessarily grown up wanting to be gophers. That's the benefit of an on-campus stadium and an enthusiastic head coach. This will change. Will we get them all, no, no one does, but we'll get most. Having said that, there's not enough room on our commit list for more than three/four more minny kids. Grant's an auto if he wants it and then the three biggies, but it's too bad we can't take some of the lower ranked kids. I think some of them will show up big elsewhere.

I'm assuming you're eliminating Seantrel with those numbers?

We've offered to Henderson, Allen, Tobi, Gjere, J.D. Pride, and apparently Taylor Grant. That's a fair amount.

if seantrel wants a spot, he gets a spot. But his arrival will mean one less opportunity for someone else.

Can we send you the money back if you leave?

It is amazing to me that you'd enjoy coming on this site every day. It's one thing to go over to other teams sites once in awhile and reading posts to see what people are saying, but it's a whole different level to become a regular poster. I guess you must find pleasure in annoying 90% of the people browsing this site. If there are Gopher fans crapping on the Badger site, I'd say the same thing to them, by the way.

I don't think this is true. What source? Just asking.

You don't see me over on the becky board calling him butt enema. On this board, anything goes for name calling of a enemy coach.

Thanks. On Scout.com, Allen is ranked higher. It's all subjective though.

Like you said, it is subjective. It is hard to argue against a player with Florida and USC offers.

I think they project at different DT positions anyway. Allen = 0-technique/1 technique (Nose tackle) & Ash = 3-technique. It is no different than Pat Williams & Kevin Williams are different DT's.
