Move closer to home, get paid, and play on a team that's loaded next season. Hard to argue with Baylor's choice.
Neither one has been. Both have had chances. Garcia didn’t even start 1/3 of the games for an 8 seed UNC. Battles one year in a P6 program they took last.Lol yeah I'm sure they can't be top 3 players on a top 30 team.
I don't know - I think it's just parts of town, like any I thin
This is so dumb. Yes, Omaha is a fun town. However, my kid goes to The U and feels safe walking around campus. She has friends at apartments and dorms in Dinkytown, Stadium Village, etc and loves it. We have a family friend who’s kid is at Creighton and loves the school but doesn’t feel safe leaving campus.
Nebraskans I know consider North Omaha to be rough, with some suggesting that includes anywhere north of Creighton to be North O. But I happened to be in Omaha over the weekend and ventured that way to find, of all things, the empty lot that was once Malcolm X home and there seems to be a decent buffer between Creighton and the neighborhoods with I thought started to resemble the high crime areas of Minneapolis.I don't know - I think it's just parts of town, like any city.
