The NBA is cooked, but I am open to anyone who can convince me this performance was actually good for the league. Thoughts?
A Ricky Davis referenceWeird night and game. I was following online and my phone was blowing up with texts, so in that regard it got people talking and paying attention. On the other hand, when I saw the "highlights" and the missed FTs on purpose and fouling with 1:30 to go up 25, well, that's not good for the league.
It wasn't as bad as Ricky Davis throwing it off the opposing teams backboard for his triple double, but not sure you want a single player shooting 43 FTs.
Howl Wolves!!
Cooked from the standpoint of legitimate basketball. I could care less about viewership. This was embarrassing, especially with headlines from ESPN telling people they shouldn't question the merits of the performance. This should be investigated from all angles.March NBA basketball is a mess, with teams actively trying to lose. They need to fix that. I don't see how the NBA is "cooked". Viewership is as high as it's been in 15 years.
Investigated for what?Cooked from the standpoint of legitimate basketball. I could care less about viewership. This was embarrassing, especially with headlines from ESPN telling people they shouldn't question the merits of the performance. This should be investigated from all angles.
