I have been to Camp Randall/Gopher games numerous times in the past 4 decades. Our son and my two grandsons were at their first CFB game. They had a ball!. I have never seen CR so quiet and subdued after the beat down last Fall. Badger fans were heading to the exits mid 4th quarter. The Badger 5th Quarter was dull. The Gophers owned CR. It was sweet!

So true. And I also believe his quiet recruiting of in state "kids". 8 year olds, 12 year olds and such. He's had 9 years to create the "I want to be a Gopher" mentality. Instead of ndsu, shitsconsin, whyowa getting the northern/outstate kids, they want to be Gophers. Just another small item he's doing. Making it a true state wide team.
 

Had to do a late-night airport run so decided to watch this game again to kill time. The Gophers really did dominate both sides of the ball and Wisky was mostly awful on offense most of the game.

Brosmer's skillset really shined in that game, especially his trust in Jackson and Spencer and Brockingham and Taylor. He made throws to where they were supposed to be in 1-1.5 seconds on any given pattern. Us older fans may not see a QB in maroon and gold do that routinely again in our lifetimes. His quick progression, and even faster bullet throwing style, allowed for a slice and dice style of play that this Gopher will miss.

This game is worth watching again on the DVR, one-hour B1G films, or on YouTube if you have some time. Also watching Sconnie go down at Camp Randall so decisively never gets old. Fickell is in the hot seat and needs to deliver or he gone bye-bye. Ski U Mah!

P.S. Coach Fleck's post-game interview ends with some passion that makes it clear this is not a trinket game. Sorry Mase...

Mason Flying the W at his lake home while HC of the goph football team. ‘My daughter goes there…’. When mase on The radio you can count 20 and Mase will have already mentioned ‘money’.
