This pulling of redshirts is really too bad and puts Kill behind the 8 ball. He wants to redshirt as many as he can so he can play a roster of 3-4-5 yr kids instead of kids against men. All these injuries are partly because these young kids aren't developed as much as the guys they are playing against. Hopefully Kill can still get the program built the right way, but it might take a little longer. But if we have to keep playing 1-2-3 yr. players the progam will not get any farther than the last 45 yrs. It has to be done right.
This is a perfect reason why he wants to play a lesser schedule in pre Big Ten until he is ready. If he still is not playing NC and the like in 2014 - 2015 then we have a problem. But to go to the Rose Bowl we have to win the big 10 schedule and the the pre season, which should be to prepare the team for the Big Ten.
