While looking at collegefootballnews.com (http://cfn.scout.com/), I found an article about ten teams they think might be ready to take a tumble (http://cfn.scout.com/2/1161729.html).

Three B1G teams were listed, Wisconsin, Michigan State and Penn State, and also this curious piece when they mentioned Oregon:

"There is something brewing in the Pac-12, and it’s not the ungodly amount of Starbucks Pike Place Roast cups of coffee. No, it’s an old, familiar beast that is about to awaken. In case you haven’t noticed, the USC Trojans are getting their house in order and are primed to retake a league they have dominated over the history of the proud conference."

Yep, a tremendous amount of history in the Pac-12.

Pac 10/12 has probably won more Rose bowls since they adopted the Big Ten/ Pac-8/10/12 format. Many times over higher ranked and favored Big Ten teams. Including all NCAA sports, they have way more championships by a wide margin. So yes, it is a proud conference as is the Big Ten. The new scheduling agreement further links them together. That is a great thing!
