Minnesota faces a Penn State team coming of a five set (16-14 in the fifth) win over Ohio State in Columbus. PSU fought off one Buckeye match point in the final set.

Got their a$$es whooped today but Penn St is one of the top teams in the nation and proved that today.

If Penn State plays to the top of their game come tourney time, they will be in the final four. They have one of the best passing units in the nation. And, shockingly, they recruited their back row players out of high school.....unlike nearly the rest of that starting lineup. Talk about making a killing in the transfer portal.

Not good to have to play them after they struggled and nearly lost against mediocre Ohio State. Penn State has now swept 4 ranked opponents (Purdue, Louisville, Oregon). Would have been nice to see the Gophers play better, even take a set, but it is what it is.

I was only following on live stats, did McKenna get hurt?
