B1G match 5: Gophers visit Michigan 10-1-25

Not really, more of a learning experience playing with different players and learning where to be and adapting to the different situations.

i think some of you may have completely unrealistic expectations based one what's happened to the team this season. i'm frankly shocked that we're 12-2. i would expect worse. being down 3 starters was bad. last match we were down 4 starters, started 3 freshman, and 2 of those freshman had to play 6 rotations. if we have our full roster and get spanked by michigan, that's concerning. i'm expecting more losses. some of you may need a recalibration based on the reality of our roster situation at this point. we literally have no reserves at 2 positions. i just hope the new players can learn and grow so the season isn't a waste.

i heard garr has a concussion - not sure if that's accurate or not. julia is clearly dealing with something as she has sat out a match and some sets and wears her leg sleeve even on the plane.

I've seen when something like that happens and what we saw Wednesday night was not that. We're almost half way through the season and we've never seen anything close to being that awful.

It's hard to figure what happened at Michigan. Things were flowing in the first set and I thought they were doing great considering all the injuries, then they fell off a cliff into a black hole.
Maybe it's a team chemistry thing, or communication disconnect, I dunno...
