They are missing many open cut to baskets. Can't just rely on the 3 ball.
 

Elissa Brett for Michigan is injured and out of the game. She is leading her team with 14 points and 6 rebounds at the end of the 3rd.

She had transferred in from Bowling Green.

Michigan's season could crash out of this game. They are being beaten badly by Minnesota in the 4th, and they maybe lost Brett to injury, unsure of her status. Keep an eye on that.

Grace caught fire in second half. Defense in second half was awesome. They did a really good job generating open looks. Fun game to watch. Good win by the Gophers. 3rd quarter woes continued, but Gophers dominated 4th quarter and would not be denied.
 






Great win for the women tonight versus Michigan. Defense was solid, and the motion offense led to many open shots. Dawn Plitzuweit and her staff have drastically changed this program in a short period of time. An experienced coach that can teach players how to improve and work together. Really shows how silly the Lindsey Whalen hire was. Go Gophers!
 



Great game especially on the road. Not sure we can count on hitting a many 3s every game, especially on the road. On the other hand, their arena looked fairly empty. Maybe the fans were standing in the rain waiting for the football team to arrive? Didn't realize Shimmy Gray Miller landed a job at BTN until I saw her at half time.

Awesome win. Could really see the coaching with 6 days since last game. Not sure there was 1,000 people there. Will be interesting to see what they claim.

what a 4th Quarter from Grace..

a PERFECT QUARTER.. 16 points and outscores Michigan by herself

this is what we need when teams double Mara. seeing the ball go through the net from behind the arc for Grace and Mal will be huge imho.. it's not like they have had terrible looks in conference play just haven't gone in.. but what a night to have THREE players hit 3+ 3 pointers.

Nia was key imho always hustling out there in limited minutes she was a +9 tonight.
