B1G Game 3: Gophers visit Wisconsin (12-31-24)

One more quarter and they would've lost this game.

If's and buts are candy and nuts. You take the win and W's any way you can in the Big 10, especially on the road. Did Gophers slow down a bit, from 1st quarter yeah. Wisconsin was playing hard and adjusted, we won the game on the road, and road wins are not easy, with being down 2 key players ti injury. We had lost 4 in a row to them. Illinois is going to be tough but we are home. Glad to get a W against Wisconsin. Gonna have to step up a notch against Illinois.

Good win on the road.

They have no margin for error due to the terrible non-conference schedule. The Gophers need to win all games like this to make the tourney.

since scoring 24 points in the 1st.. we have scored 20 since.. our offense looks so good.. then just kind of doesn't wish we could keep the offense rolling all the time..

As we all know, offense comes and goes. Which is why being able to play good defense is so important. Playing well defensively allows you to win when you can only score 59. A 20 point 4th quarter was not great, but holding a team to 30 points over 3 quarters is elite.
