"The composure, the ability to make free throws, get stops when we needed," said head coach
Kelly Graves. "We had a bunch of players step up and have big games. I thought Elisa (Mevius), this was the best game she's played in a Duck uniform. Deja (Kelly) is starting to break out and be that star that we know she can be."
"When we amp the defense up, good things happen," said Graves. "We got some run outs and easy baskets and got the tempo back in our favor. We pulled out a lot of different defenses tonight: picked them up full court man-to-man, some halfcourt trap and some three-quarter court trap. I think we kept them a little off balance tonight."
"This was a great win against a good team," Graves said. "A Quad 1 win on the road, one of the better teams in the country. They kinda remind me of ourselves … both of our teams are gritty, tough, physical, aggressive."
