Syracuse, NY -- The Carrier Dome got a little fuller on Tuesday. Syracuse University has sold 38,129 tickets for its football opener against the University of Minnesota on Saturday at the Carrier Dome. That's according to Scott Sidwell, SU's executive senior associate athletics director. "There is certainly a buzz," he said.

I think they will have a good 10,000 walk up. I wouldn't be surprised if they are close to selling out by game time.
