Athletic Village bricks

I think I asked before, but can't find the thread. Anyone in here ever bought a brick for the athletic village fundraising thing? I'm going to buy with my kids name on it (Due May 7th) and wanted to know if the process is smooth? It seems to be. We'll likely just do the $500 brick, and if we have more kids, do it again for them. Wife and I will get one for ourselves. Seems fun and less cumbersome than the $2500 brick or something.

I've done them in my kids names with a little message. Also did a larger one for my parents. I think they will keep doing it over time as there is still a lot of room for them.

Thats my plan and I hope they do...since we don't know if more kids are coming. I don't see why they wouldn't. Has to be a pretty significant profit per brick. Their cost on my $500 brick can't be more than like $25?

I don't know. The Vikings gave replicas, I got my dad a brick because he is a diehard Vikes fan. If the Gophers give a replica I'm for sure it on this.

I don’t believe you get a replica, I didn’t. They are located in the area between athletes village and the football complex. It wasn’t hard to find ours. My guess is there were about a hundred or so. They were spread around the area. I think the whole thing was the idea of an intern who has since become a full employee.
