There is an indented "M" on the TCF side of the basketball facility that is internally lit around the border. Looks really sharp.

Nothing is "confirmed" but I'm sure the cost/work time to paint literally all the field markings on is enough of a deterrent. Factor in the fact that if it's raining they can't paint the markings on/they don't dry fast enough and it seems pretty obvious to me.

Maybe maroon end zones... with a bit of green border between maroon and the line?

I want to say there was a situation way back in the dome where we felt we got hosed because the maroon was way dark and it looked like someone stepped out when they didn't or something....

I did find that included in the contract between the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota United was "Up to $735,000 to install new football turf after the last soccer game in 2018"...so there we have it, there will probably be new turf installed for the 2019 season that is more specific to football.

Great time for recruiting visits! There is nothing like the smell and look of newness in a facility.

Marking are generally sewn in strips not painted markings.

At TCF everything except the M, the "Minnesota" in the endzone, and the field outline is painted because MN United are using TCF.

Yes. There was a call like this where a ref either thought he was out of bounds or not in the endzone because of the green border in the end zone.
I'm not a fan of that look myself.

Can't let it happen. The football team, apparently, would view anyone getting in there before them as a slap in the face.

Lighting in the weight room is kinda odd
 


Since we're so close to move-in date, I am surprised by the lack of visible branding. Maybe we should help with some mock-ups. facility.jpg
