Some of our recruits have a listed position as ATH. Does that mean we signed them for their athletic ability and will determine a position later?

Athlete is what they use when someone could project at multiple positions in college.

The majority of guys that we recruit could play multiple positions. You can even hear it in the descriptions of the recruits with Limey and Claeys.

There are guys who certainly have a position (Demry Croft, Witham, Moore, Still, Register, Oseland).

However, most of the other guys, the description left open some position flexibility. With a couple of our CB recruits, Claeys specifically mentioned that they could grow into S's. With Beebe, they talked about him being a DE or DT but that Kill likes somethings he can do on offense. With Johannsen, Limegrover only mentioned how good of an athlete that he is and that he would do whatever the staff asked, he never mentioned his running ability.

If you listen to those things, you can really tell which guys have an absolute position and which guys are a wait and see.
