At least one coach in Turkey for recruiting ….

Does that mean we don’t have many options here in the states, or is there a superstar in Turkey? Are most of the Superstars taken in the U.S.? Anyone have some info?

Turkey is a fantastic volleyball country...never hurts to develop a recruiting network there.

I'm guessing because we want a top libero starting the '24 season and there may not be many top recruits left in the US that they're checking out all possibilities. Or maybe there was something about this libero in Turkey that was highly desirable, like an excellent passer, etc. Who knows. It will be interesting to see what happens, I feel like Cook is already a little more aggressive, or different? (not sure the right word) in his recruiting. But maybe that's most coaches in their first few years.
