(AP) — TULSA, Okla. - Forward Armond Battle has been kicked off Tulsa's basketball team.

Golden Hurricane coach Doug Wojcik told the Tulsa World on Tuesday that Battle was dismissed for breaking team rules.

The 6-foot-7 forward from Minnesota had sat out his freshman year after rupturing his Achilles tendon before the season started.

What exactly did he do that would cause a dismissal? That seems extremely harsh.

Supposedly CJ Erickson might be transferring to Winona State already. If Armond were to come too then Winona would be right back up at the top.
