Anyone hear why D Wilson sat the first quarter against Iowa?

Glad it isn't a big deal. The good of it was Williams got some action and played pretty well. We've got some very good young defensive players.

I was VERY impressed with Everett both in the first Q and in mop up duty. He will have a very good shot to beat out Poock next year IMO.

Everett Williams absolutely planted Iowa's QB twice in the 4th. He looks the part of a Big Ten LB physically as a true freshman.

Also had a few nice tackles on the first drive against Weisman who is very difficult to bring down.

I had no problem with Everett out there, he'll do fine, my issue was taking Lynn out for Celestin
that resulted in some big 3rd down conversions for them. Dont get me wrong, Celestin looks
like he'll be a darn good player, but he's a true frosh and a lil light to justify taking Lynn out.

Glad it was a minor thing with Wilson, he's still a beast and he'll still get his due credit at the
end of the season.

It's OK. We get to have a recruiting class every year! Ours are getting better each year too!
