# 62 - QB and Guard - Bud Wilkenson. Graduated from Faribault Shattock HS in 1933. Led Coach Bernie Bierman's Golden Gophers to all time record that still stands, 3, yes 3, consecutive National Championships, 1934, 1935 and 1936.

Also played Hockey and Golf for Minny.

Wild how Munn and Wilkinson both went to the U but didn't come back to coach. Obviously Warmath worked out with success, too. But still, have to wonder. It's quite the coaching alumni group when also including Bud Grant and Tony Dungy
