One last point. How good does an alum have to be for us to want him? How bad does the alum have to be to want us?!
Dungy. We all would have LOVED him. But we ALL knew we were NEVER going to get him.
And there are lots of Gopher alum that we honestly, wouldn't want.
But seriously, Flip Saunders is AS GOOD AS WE'LL EVER GET. Oh, but he's not good enough to even take a chance on, is he?! Lets tell him to FU and see when an opportunity like this comes up again.
A lot of people around the country think Minnesota is a joke, so lets spurn one of the few who really loves the U.
