...production, good hands, elusiveness and size. Since he's really not all that fast (4.51 in the 40 according to Rivals), he will make a great red-zone type target...and what makes a QB happier than a guy who can go get the ball in the end zone? Nothing.

Highlight videos are what they are, but I just got done watching his, and I'm really impressed. Dude can break tackles like a RB. YAC, YAC, YAC!

He would probably play a good bit as a true freshman, too. That isn't the kind of opportunity he would get a lot of other places. Our WR depth is razor thin and we graduate our only sure thing this year.

4.51 isn't that slow if that is accurate. I remember reading in the PiPress a few years ago that Bernard Berrian's fastest recorded 40 was 4.55.

Newton ran a 4.59
Leshoure (Illinois) who killed us a few years ago ran a 4.59
Royster (Penn State) who is pretty fast ran a 4.65
John Clay is slow I guess but he ran a 4.87
Ernie Wheelwright ran a 4.50
Troy Stoudermire runs a 4.50 according to Rivals

40 times are completely unreliable unless they come from one of a few sources. Every hs rb, wr, or db being recruited by a bcs school supposedly runs 4.4 but that couldn't be further from the truth.

Gophers09 you're totally right. 40 times are unreliable. I'm just saying IF the 4.51 is correct, then he's pretty fast.
