Once again Ingram did what he does best - drew a few charges, cleaned up around the glass with a few put-backs and brought great energy off the bench.

If we shorten the bench, I think there will be a few BT games where Ingram gets more PT than Walker or EE. Ingram is much more athletic than those two and is more active defensively. He's filling a nice role for this team.

I don't recall a player that consistently draws as many charges as he does.

Go Gophers!!

I really wish he had another year, he is really coming along nicely but is stuck behind some major talent in Williams and Mbakwe.

Congrats to Ingram, played very well tonight. I don't think he will get much playing time (3-5 min) come B1G play, mainly because Rodney and Trev will play more minutes at the 4. IMO Ingram will play more only if EE or Mo fail to match B1G caliber competition. With that scenario it would mean Mo and EE don't live up to expectations, which would be terrible for the gophs program. No knock to Ingram, but I hope our other players develop so we don't have to use him.

Great game and season so far for Ingram, I don't mean to diminish what he does.

One year ago people wanted Tubby hanged for signing such a waste of a scholarship. In the real world players actually develop & get better with coaching, maturity & experience. Even Andre Ingram. Even Mav. Even gasp....Oto.

I really hope this isn't the case, I think Ingram can be a very valuable asset. He's one of those unsung guys who does all the little things that help win ball games like diving for loose balls, hustling for rebounds and drawing offensive fouls (better than anyone else I've ever seen), and he's athletic enough to chip in on the offensive end as well.

No, he's still a waste of a scholarship. As is Oto.

I think he'll play bigger minutes against the Illinois, NW's and Michigan's of the world. Against teams like MSU or Iowa, we'll have to hope for the best with EE. You can't teach 6-11 and long arms.

I agree he does all of those things: hustle, rebound, draw fouls. I'm just saying if he doesn't play late in the season it is probably due to younger players stepping up. I hope that happens for the growth of our players.
