Andre Hollins named to 2012 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament All-Tournament Team

Nice. Notice how the other four played in the championship game?

Wow - Andre beat out some very good players (Trey Burke). Congratulations! Well deserved.

Quite an accomplishment for a freshman on a mediocre team. The team will be better next year but needs to sign a top recruit or 2. Buggs and Wally will not be difference makers. A suggestion would be to dump Mav and sign Philip Nolan or some other player with size.

Yes, lets dump our 2 worst players for two top recruits. Sounds like a win-win.

Andre really came on at the end of the year. If he plays like he did in the B1G tourney next year, the Gophers win 9+ conference games even w/o Mbakwe.

Here, here! I was hoping the league would do the right thing by Andre, and they did. Super performances by the young man.

This kid is going to end up being a special player for us.

Source? I believe they will be difference makers, but I never count on frosh in the B1G. We have 11 letterman returning, I have no problem looking to the future if that's the case. No reason to believe they won't be as solid as Tubby's other Fall recruits.

Very nice out of state get for Tubby. Smart Kid, Good Kid, Good Player

If there was one thing we learned last year it's that we need a 3rd PG. What happens if Dre gets hurt next season, Welch gonna play every minute of every game? How about when Welch graduates, who's Dre's backup? Maverick made a big leap this year and while he'll never be Steve Nash he should be steady backup as an upperclassman.

If we're going to pick up a forward they should cut Ingram, not Mav.

That's pretty darn impressive considering everyone else was in the championship game. We didn't even make the semis lol
