Why bring up a two year old thread where someone guessed wrong about a mid-major player's potential? Talk about having nothing better to do.

I don't think recruiting is about "guessing." Beyond that, it wasn't about guessing mid-major potential, it was about guessing B1G potential.

Sometimes I think it is good to hold posters accountable for what they post.

The poster wasn't a recruiter. He was a fan who thought a player would be good. He was wrong. That happens all the time. I thought Evan Turner would be really good in the NBA and so did most GMs and scouts at the time. Lots of people were wrong there.

As far as holding posters accountable, that depends upon the poster. If someone is a blowhard who consistently thinks he knows more than anyone else and is always certain about his views, then go for it, but going back two years seems excessive. I'm not familiar with the original poster but the guy who dredged this up has demonstrated on multiple occasions since I've been here that he's a pointlessly angry and petty dipsh$t.
