Amir Coffey not starting Wednesday night's game because of injury

Coffey suffered a bruised foot in Sunday's win against Northern Illinois, according to a source. He warmed up with the team before Wednesday's game, but he will be replaced in the starting lineup by senior Akeem Springs.

I'm guessing he hurt it on that long dunk attempt late in the game. I cringed when I saw it. Hopefully not serious.

They said on the radio broadcast that he's available if they need him.

But if they don't, I agree completely with resting him.
