Did you mean to write they didn't play a tough OOC schedule? It would be pretty tough to play in the BT without playing a tough schedule. Obviously we didn't play the hardest schedule of anyone in basketball, but to say we didn't play a tough schedule is slightly ridiculous (unless you meant OOC). Even in regards to OOC though, when you look at who other major conference teams play, I think we played a relatively tough schedule. Outside of tournaments, most OCC schedule are a joke for big schools.

"definitely likely be"... sounds like half pregnant. Minnesota hasn't played a tough schedule, they just have a strong SOS. There's a difference.

It is interesting when you talk about what kind of run we are on at the end, how important it is to consider how many games you look at. If we win only the two you mentioned from here on out, when you use the 11 game horizon you did, you are correct, we were 5-6 and that is pretty mediocre. However, you would also be able to say that we were 5-10 in our last 15 games, which is pretty horrendous. Conversely, you could say we went 2-1 in our last three and have the momentum going forward again.

Yes, analysis by applying Limited Point Extrapolation. The fewer the points, the straighter the curve. The ultimate is, of course, Single Point Extrapolation.

While we're on the topic of SOS, have any of you guys actually checked out Gonzaga's schedule this year. I could argue that we could have done what they have and literally at worst have been 23-6. My bet is that the Gophers would have gone 26-3 or 25-4. It's pretty crazy that they are ranked above Duke in my opinion.
