All Things Roman Voss Thread (Gophers Commit!)

Quick and easy flight to Sioux Falls and drive to Luverne

That actually saves very little time with airport drives and all that. Wonder what they did? Can’t think of a nearby airport they’d have flown in to.

It's a half hour flight to Sioux Falls and a half hour drive to Luverne from there. It's a 7 hour round trip driving to Luverne and back.

But you have to drive to the airport and then back to where you came from. You’re assuming fleck lives at the airport.

Plus money. And that there is a charter flight he can just get on. That lands at the Sioux Falls airport.

Luverne has an airport. And it’s named after the WW2 fighter pilot from Luverne that was featured in the Ken Burns documentary about the war.

And yes, Fleck is in Luverne to watch Voss tonight.

The next Koi …
Nope. And not trying to be a dick.

He is the first Roman (I think I checked right, and he’s the first “Roman” to play for The Gophers)

And Koi is the first Koi (I think I checked right, and he’s the first “Koi” to play for The Gophers)

Let them both be their own unique, outstanding, awesome Koi and Romans in the long Gopher’s history.

And I hope both turn out to be all-time greats.

He has a chance to be elite. He will be a great TE, running out of the wildcat, tush push, a threat to throw (5000/50 in HS), will be an elite blocker. Tyler Warren with more speed.
Hope so! Needs to love contact at D 1 level, which can be a challenge for many.

Last Gopher like this and I'm not comparing their athletic ability, but Maxx Williams played all over the fields on offense in HS for Waconia. Lined up at WR, TE, QB, to get the ball in his hands.

I thought of that comparison as well. It would be awesome if that materializes.

Whether Roman's statistic underwhelm, whelm or overwhelm a person, the thing to keep in mind is that they were accumulated while really only playing about one half of each game.

Within the last 10 days the junior from Jackson has picked up offers from Miami and Auburn. I got a feeling it's gonna be tough for PJ to keep this kid home.
Auburn and Miami? Gross.
He’s going to get better offers than those two.
