Eddie's got the NLCS MVP locked down if the Braves finish it off. He's gone from my bargain bin off-season target to the Braves having no choice but to re-sign him for multiple years for $10 + million.

Wow. Amazing -just watched the highlight of that 💣; Atlanta’s front office deserves a ton of credit for their pickups if him, Soler and Joctober. They need to ride Eddie and Joc as they are raking, like me as a teenager in Douglas County may moons ago. Soler can DH and PH as needed - his COVID DL trip might cost him some cash, but he has been a great pick up as well.

He may resign with the Braves, but in today's analytical world I don't think GMs make knee jerk reactions based on a small sample size. I have no idea what the Braves long term OF prospects are either. Lots of short term rentals post season heroes wind up going elsewhere as well.

Certainly fun streak to watch. Crazy, I mentioned in another thread that I saw him play the Padres in person a month ago as sort of an afterthought and now he's a folklore legend.
 








Excited for the match up. I'm rooting for the 'stros to get the scandal behind them and realize they just have a deep talented team.
 







Atlanta getting the full Eddie experience in the playoffs. He gave a pretty piss poor effort trying to catch a ball in the 8th inning when his staff was throwing a no-hitter.
 





The Soler & Swanson HRs were LOUD. Swanson's had so much thunder, sounded like someone banging on a garage can lid when it crashed into that facade.
