Gophers beat Green Bay 10-1 in 5 innings in their 1st game and will face NDSU tomorrow in the winners bracket game while Auburn and Green Bay will face each other in an elimination game.
 

I have looked all over. How did Gopher SB do today versus NDSU?
 


Gophers won 4 to 1 with 3 runs top of 10th.

Regional Finals tomorrow. Have 2 chances to win to send themselves to the Sweet 16 in Eugene, Oregon.

Tough loss in game one. With that said, it's nice to know that Groenewegen will around another three years. When she gets going, she's unbelievable.
 

Gophers lead. 1-0 after 1 inning of game 2.
 





Pitching is really struggling. And most of our key hitters have really been pressing. Not looking good at all.

Fantastic...Macken hits a three-run ding dong to give the Gophers an 8-6 lead and I can't see it because BTN has blinked out...well, at least the Gophers are ahead now! :p
 

That's the game! Gophers come back and down Auburn 8-6 to move on to the Super Regionals against Oregon! :clap:
 

Great comeback! A Big Ten and Regional championship. Not done yet.

Gutty performance. I thought they were done after the pinch hit grand slam. Well done, ladies!
 

It's been a great last 9 days for Macken. The walk-off vs Michigan, the run rule walk-off vs GB, the winning run vs NDSU, and the winner vs Auburn.

- #16 Minnesota @ #1 Oregon (in Sweet 16)
- Game 1 in best 2/3 series kicks off Saturday 9:00 pm CT on ESPN2
-a trip to the College World Series is on the line!

My earlier sentiments about looking forward to having Groenewegen around for another three years obviously apply to Macken as well! :D
 


Gophers lose game 1 10-2 in 6 innings. Probably the worst game I have seen the Gophers play all year as they had tons of mental and physical errors. Groenewegen didn't pitch at all in game 1 so I would guess she will start game 2 and if she pitches the way she can and the Gophers stay away from the errors I wouldn't be surprised if they at least push it to a game 3.
 

A great run for the Gophers softball team, but the season ended today with a 6-2 loss to Oregon. great season Gophers.

When the ESPN announcers said Groenewegen was out with an injury I figured that it was pretty much over. I think she would have gave the Oregon hitters some problems and it was definitely a huge loss without her bat in the lineup. I wasn't all that impressed with Oregon and when the Gophers played clean they were pretty much right with Oregon.
